| About Main.net-Power Line Communications, Inc. |
| Main.net-PLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Main.net Communications, Ltd. We are the market leader in power line
communications (PLC) access network solutions in North America. Utilizing the
state-of-the-art PLUST technology developed by our parent company we are able
to transform the hostile electric distribution grid into a high speed data
network. That's correct.in cooperation with the electric distribution company,
our company provides high speed Internet access through an ordinary wall
socket. Through the existing power lines customers are connected instantly to
the World Wide Web. |

| The Mission |
| The mission of Main.net - PLC is to make broadband over power
lines a reality in North America. We will accomplish this through a focus on
development and implementation of a power line communication (PLC) "last mile"
and "last-inch" solution that delivers the bandwidth that customers desire,
with a quality of service (QOS) that they expect and at a cost they are willing
to pay. To our network partners, the electric distribution companies, property
managers and hospitality facility owners, we will deliver, maintain and operate
the components necessary, to meet customer service level demands, for an
investment that will maximize the return to our network shareholders. |

| The Market |
| Consumer demand for broadband is overwhelming. Over 60% of US
households are currently connected to the Internet, with less than 5% having a
broadband connection. The problem in the market has been the failure of the
traditional providers to get the service to where the customers live. The high
cost and technology limitations of xDSL cable and wireless solutions have made
these traditional providers unable to meet the demand. |
| |
| The "Last Mile" Solution |
| The electric distribution grid provides a ubiquitous
infrastructure to deliver broadband service. The Main.net family of PLUS
products, the CuPLUS, RpPLUS, and NtPLUS, create the end-to-end broadband
network architecture at a fraction of the cost of xDSL, cable and wireless. The
network can be constructed quickly and cost effectively because it utilizes the
existing wires to carry the communication signals. With these advantages it's
no wonder why Main.net is the leader in the PLC field. But the best part is
that no truck roll to the consumer home is required. Nor is there a need for a
costly home gateway. The NtPLUS modems can be shipped to the end-user. The
customer simply connects the modem to a PC via USB or an NIC card and he/she
can be surfing the Web in minutes with an always-on connection. |
| |
| The "Last Inch" Solution |
| The Main.net PLUS system is also a cost effective solution for
the Hospitality and Multi-Density Unit (MDU) markets. Providing broadband to
tenants and guests is a simple plug-and-play exercise. No costly over-build is
required. And, the market penetration rates required for a cost effective
deployment are a fraction of the traditional solutions. What is really exciting
is that the smaller properties that have been avoided by the traditional
solutions no longer are left without service. The technology is cost effective
for virtually any size property. Since this market is on the customer side of
the electric meter, it does not require a partnership with the distribution
company. In as quickly as 45 days, you can be delivering an always-on high
speed Internet connection to your tenants. |
